Don’t miss your last chance to register for Beam’s January Little Learners School Readiness Workshop!

🌟 Little Learners is a small-group program led by Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists, designed to support children starting Kindy/Prep or moving into Year 1 in 2026. Fun, play-based activities help build confidence, strengthen motor skills, and enhance social and emotional readiness for school.

✨ As 2025 comes to a close, we want to thank our Beam community for being part of another meaningful year. It has been our privilege to support you, your families, and each other.

This year brought growth, connection, and celebration. We welcomed new team members across our clinics, supported students on placement, and recognised important achievements within our team. These clinics will close in the afternoon of Tuesday 23 December 2025 and reopen Monday 5 January 2026.

Tuggerah | Gosford
These clinics will operate on a limited basis over the Christmas and New Year period. No scheduled appointments, including regular therapy sessions, will be available 24 December – 2 January. Walk-in Medicare Mental Health Centre services remain available 9:00am – 5:00pm, excluding weekends and public holidays.

All Beam clinics will return to regular hours from Monday 5 January 2026.

A big thank you to the wonderful team at Bolton Point Child Care Centre for welcoming us into your centre 💛

Over the past few months, Beam OT Ghye has worked in close collaboration with educators through fortnightly sessions, delivering a practical presentation on behaviour, spending time on the floor with children, and supporting both educators and parents with tailored, everyday strategies.

This collaborative approach helps ensure strategies feel practical, consistent, and embedded into everyday routines across both home and early learning environments.

Beam offers a range of allied health services, including OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, and Behaviour Support, and we love working in partnership with early learning centres to support educators, families, and children ✨

Erica, our Educational & Developmental Psychologist at Beam Health Kedron, is now accepting assessment referrals for early 2026.

Erica is passionate about psychological assessment and helping families gain further understanding of their child’s strengths and identify areas in need of greater support. She offers a range of comprehensive assessments, including WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, Bayley-4, MIGDAS and more, to help inform intervention and support needs.

What we see in the news can sometimes feel overwhelming and distressing, and it’s natural for these stories to leave us feeling unsettled. Children can experience similar feelings too, even if they don’t say anything.

🌟 Meet Gabby, Behaviour Support Practitioner at Beam 🌟
If you're exploring Behaviour Support as a way of understanding and supporting your child, teen or young adult, you may be wondering what it involves and how it can help foster autonomy and participation in ways that feel right for each individual.

At Beam, we take a neuro-affirming approach, recognising that all behaviour is a form of communication. We work alongside individuals to understand their needs, strengths, and experiences, and develop purposeful, practical strategies that support emotional wellbeing, co-regulation, skill-building, and independence.

Based in Warners Bay, Gabby is passionate about helping individuals navigate big emotions, changing environments, and growing independence. She brings a warm, genuine and collaborative approach, to create practical, supportive strategies that truly fit her clients lives. Drawing on a neurodiversity affirming, trauma-informed and strengths-based practice, she often incorporates the PACE model (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to build trust and safety. While she often works with teens, Gabby also supports younger children and adults who benefit from her thoughtful approach.
