❄ Cosy up for our Winter Restorative Yoga Immersion ❄

As the seasons turn and winter settles softly around us, nature invites us inward.

The days grow quieter.
The air becomes cooler.
The earth rests beneath the stillness.

Winter reminds us that restoration is sacred — a season not for constant doing, but for nourishing, replenishing, and returning home to ourselves. A time to slow the pace, soften the edges, and tend gently to body, mind, and spirit.

In this restorative immersion, we will embrace the rhythm of winter through grounding movement, spacious breath, and deeply supported rest. Together we create space to unwind tension, calm the nervous system, and replenish our inner reserves.

Come to the mat.
Breathe deeply.
Rest fully.

Let winter hold you in its quiet wisdom, reminding you that there is strength in stillness and beauty in restoration.

Suitable for all levels. Spaces are limited — early booking is recommended.

As we arrive toward the weekend, may you gift yourself the space to soften, slow down, and reconnect.

Take time to dedicate to you — to your loved ones, to your practice, to the simple moments that nourish your heart. Let go of the weight of the week and allow yourself to open gently to all that may arrive.

In stillness, in presence, in connection… there is so much waiting to unfold. ✨

Your lymphatic system doesn’t need intensity… it needs consistency

Unlike the heart, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump — it relies on movement, breath, and gentle muscle contraction to circulate and clear.

So the question isn’t how hard… it’s how often.

So how often should you practise yoga to support your lymphatic system?

• Daily (10–15 mins) → keeps things moving
• 3–5x per week → boosts circulation + drainage
• 1 slow session weekly → reset + restore

The most supportive practices include:
– Gentle flows that create a natural “pumping” through the body
– Twists to wring out and refresh tissues
– Inversions (even simple ones like legs up the wall)
– Deep diaphragmatic breathing to stimulate internal flow

Your body thrives on rhythm.

And when your lymph flows well… you feel clearer, lighter, and more energised.

Exciting news for yoga students

Yoga has officially been reinstated as an eligible private health insurance service in Australia, with many insurers now reintroducing rebates under selected Extras cover policies.

This recognition reflects the growing awareness of yoga’s benefits for:
🌿 Mental health
🌿 Chronic pain management
🌿 Mobility & strength
🌿 Stress reduction
🌿 Overall wellbeing

Many major health funds including Medibank, Bupa, HCF and Teachers Health are beginning to offer coverage again under Health Management or Health Improvement programs.

Please note:
✔️ Coverage varies between insurers
✔️ Some funds may require a GP or allied health referral
✔️ Rebates are often linked to managing specific health conditions
✔️ Annual limits and waiting periods may apply

As policies continue to evolve, it’s worth contacting your health fund directly to check:
• if yoga is included in your cover
• eligibility requirements
