🌿✨ Easter Message from Quambie Park ✨🌿

As we celebrate this Easter season, we are reminded of the power of kindness, hope, and faith—especially in challenging times.

Easter is a time of renewal, a gentle reminder that even after the darkest moments, light and new beginnings can emerge. It calls us to look out for one another, to offer compassion, and to hold onto hope.

Here at Quambie Park, we see every day how small acts of kindness can make a big difference, a smile, a kind word, a helping hand. These moments matter. They bring comfort, connection, and strength to our community.

Let’s carry the true spirit of Easter with us beyond today. Let’s continue to choose kindness, nurture hope, and keep faith in brighter days ahead.

Wishing everyone a peaceful and meaningful Easter 💛

Today we proudly celebrate International Women’s Day at Quambie Park.

Our incredible leaders took a moment to honour the strength, resilience, and achievements of women everywhere, and to reflect on how we can continue to inspire, support, and empower one another every day.

Thank you to our amazing team for creating a culture where women are valued, heard, and encouraged to lead.

Together we continue to build a community that celebrates equality, opportunity, and respect.

🌟 Celebrating Our Star Employee – Tash McDonald! 🌟

This International Women’s Day, we’re incredibly proud to recognise one of our amazing team members here at Quambie Park – Tash McDonald. 💜

At Quambie Park, our community is built on the dedication, compassion and talent of our people, who bring local values and care to everything they do. For more than 40 years, Quambie Park has been proud to support the Waroona and surrounding communities with respect, dignity and a strong sense of belonging.

Tash embodies those values every day. Not only is she a valued member of our team, but she’s also making waves outside of work as an incredible athlete! 🏄‍♀️

At the 2026 Wakeboard Australia Nationals in Bundalong, Victoria, Tash achieved an outstanding result:
🥈 2nd in Australia – Master Women
And that’s not all! She also claimed:
🥇 1st Place – Malibu Ride Series Triple Crown (Master Women)

What makes this achievement even more impressive is that it was her first nationals and she competed with no practice this season, simply getting out there and giving it her all.

That determination, resilience and love of the sport truly reflect the spirit of International Women’s Day – celebrating women who push boundaries and inspire others.

From all of us at Quambie Park, congratulations Tash! We are so proud to have such a talented, driven and inspiring woman as part of our team. 💜

👏 Please join us in celebrating Tash’s incredible achievement!

This weekend we celebrate International Women’s Day and recognise the incredible women who make our community so special.

This week our amazing Wellness and Engagement Team created a beautiful initiative – a Tree of Gratitude – where staff and residents could share messages of appreciation, encouragement, and thanks for the women who inspire them every day. 🌸

The tree quickly filled with heartfelt notes celebrating kindness, strength, compassion, and the many ways women support and uplift those around them. It was a wonderful reminder of the impact women have in our workplace, in our homes, and in our community.

To all the women who care for our residents, support our teams, lead with compassion, and make a difference every single day – thank you. Your dedication, resilience, and kindness do not go unnoticed.

Happy International Women’s Day. 💜

🎉💃 Brazilian Carnival Comes to Quambie Park!

What an incredible day of colour, music and celebration as our residents experienced the vibrant spirit of the Brazilian Carnival right here at Quambie Park!

Carnival is all about community, culture and celebration — and that’s exactly what we shared together. Events like these remind us that joy has no age limit. Music brings back memories, sparks conversation, and fills the heart with happiness.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this colourful celebration to life. It was a wonderful reminder that at Quambie Park, we don’t just create care — we create experiences, connection and moments to treasure.

Stay tuned for more fun and festivities ahead! 🎶✨

🎧 World Hearing Day – 3 March 👂

Today we recognise World Hearing Day, a global reminder of how precious the gift of hearing truly is.

Hearing connects us to the laughter of loved ones, the comfort of a familiar voice, the rhythm of music, and the simple joy of conversation. It allows us to share stories, express our feelings, and remain connected to the world around us.

Did you know that over 1.5 billion people worldwide live with some degree of hearing loss? Many cases can be prevented or supported with early detection and care. A simple hearing check can make a powerful difference.

At Quambie Park, we know that communication is at the heart of wellbeing. Taking the time to listen — really listen — shows respect, dignity and care. Every voice matters.

Every story deserves to be heard.

This World Hearing Day, we encourage everyone to:
✔️ Protect your ears from loud noise
✔️ Book a hearing check if you’ve noticed changes
✔️ Support loved ones who may need hearing assistance
✔️ Be patient and speak clearly to help others feel included

Because when we can hear one another, we can truly connect with one another. 💙
