One of our Physiotherapists Lachie is demonstrating 3 levels of a squat progression to help build strength and confidence.
1️⃣ Box Squat (Sit to Stand)
- A great starting point to build strength and control
- Helps improve confidence getting up from a chair
2️⃣ Weighted Box Squat
- Adds load to build strength through the hips and knees
- Helps improve tolerance to daily and gym-based activities
3️⃣ Single Leg Box Squat
- Builds single-leg strength, balance, and control
- Carries over to stairs, running, and sport
