On the weekend, Pianola Club took place in the Sunroom. Residents chose songs to be played on the historic pianola, bringing back memories of times with loved ones sitting around the Pianola or Piano, enjoying its music.

Residents and team members donned their finest floral outfits today to celebrate the beginning of what is sure to be a magnificent season. This August, Morton resident and Garden Club member Beryl hosted an information afternoon on Winter Flowers. Beryl spoke to attendees about the different species of flowers that bloom in the colder months here at Fairview. Beryl shared her expertise and knowledge of fuchsias, camellias, hyacinths and many more. Today Fairview Village hosted the annual Daffodil Day afternoon tea. The day was made all the more brighter by a generous donation of 60 bunches of daffodils from the wonderful Blyth Bros, a local daffodil farm. This meant that residents could have flowers in their rooms if they wish, as well as lovely displays of daffodls in common areas and all throughout the home. Residents enjoyed an afternoon of Trivia and some refreshments, all whilst in wonderful company, and supporting and recognising the Cancer Council. Thank you for a lovely day! 🌼

In light of the Hawks' win in the AFL yesterday, we'd like to share with you a beautiful throw blanket made by one of the Fairview residents. Hawks supporter Tom is the recipient of this lovely blanket made by a resident in McDonald, created from a collection of Hawthorn scarves that were donated to Fairview. The demonstration of skill and kindness is awe inspiring. We're a happy team at Fairview! 🙂🧣🏉
