The horse girl lifestyle is really just wellness with extra hay and muddy boots. 🐎🤎
Owning a horse is not just about having a horse. It is so much better than that.
Horses have structured my morning routine with morning feeds, looking after their paddocks, preparing for competitions or just hacking out and having fun riding.
They are an outside gym as there is always something to do outside making them a workout you don't even realize you are doing.
Of course there are bad days with the good but there are so many more good days than bad. Sometimes I stop and think is this really for me? The cold Winter and mud. The days when my horses misbehave and I get nervous. The pre-competition nerves. But at the end of the day I ask myself, what would I do with that extra time and I know I would miss them terribly. They aren't just a horse, they are so much more. They are a companion, there is a connection that goes beyond words. Feeling that connection as you ride and communicate through the slightest movement of your body is like telepathy where two beings that are totally different become one,
Feeling down? Horses always cheer me up. That soft neighing when I go outside and they greet me, the endorphins they produce, showing their love and affection.
I've also made some wonderful friends through horses. Connecting with others through mutual interests and helping each other with tips or things we do with our horses or funny annecdotes.
I hope to be riding into old age. I simply can't imagine a life without my horses.

I wanted to share a bit about my journey since starting on health regime.

Honestly, the difference has been huge for me. I’ve seen consistent weight loss, which has been really motivating, but what’s surprised me even more is how much my energy has improved. I’m getting through my days without those mid-afternoon slumps that used to hit me hard, and I’m no longer constantly reaching for snacks or dealing with cravings.

I feel more in control of my routine, more focused, and just overall better in myself. It’s not just about the physical changes—it’s how much more balanced and energised I feel day to day.
