Being bullied can make you feel stuck, and like nothing will work.

The most important things to do are:
- act like you're calm on the outside (while it's happening)
- and report it and get support.

But here are some other responses you can try that have worked for other people.

Full disclaimer though: bullying takes time to stop – and not all these responses will work all the time.

If you're considering trying one of these responses, talk it through with a counsellor or trustworthy adult first.

They may also have some other great suggestions too!

Family violence is often silent - but it’s the victim who ends up feeling the shame, not the person responsible.
That has to change.
You did nothing wrong.
You are not to blame.
The shame belongs with the person who chose to be abusive - not you 💜
