Hey everyone. It’s so good to see you back for a brand-new year at Pure Light ✨️

As we settle into the new year, our goal is to keep things simple... no big resolutions or pushing harder — it’s just about coming home to the mat again day after day.

A few breaths, a bit of movement - and that feeling of calm that carries you through the day. Our daily rituals are what bring everything back into balance.

We’ve got some beautiful things unfolding here at the studio soon, but for now, it’s simple:
show up, breathe, move, and let yourself reset.

We can’t wait to share the space with you again.

🌕 WOLF FULL MOON | YOGA RITUAL FOR TONIGHT

Tonight is the Wolf Full Moon - the first full moon of the year.

In ancient traditions, this moon symbolised returning to your own voice and a call to remember your inner rhythm.

Wolves howl not to seek approval, but to locate their pack and to say, “I’m here. I belong. I’m ready to connect.”

This full moon invites the same: a moment to ground, to listen, and to set your energy for 2026 from a place of calm power rather than hustle.

🌕 Your Ritual for Tonight
• Roll out your mat. Move slowly, intuitively.
• Choose postures that ground you - Child’s Pose, Forward Fold, Pigeon, Legs up the Wall.
• Breathe through your exhale longer than your inhale.
• Place your hands on your heart and solar plexus.
• Set your personal intention

If you feel called, light a candle, journal what you’re ready to release, and write one word you want to embody for the year ahead.

Then move, stretch, rest, and let the full moon do her work.

✨ What a magical afternoon! ✨

Our Sound Bowl event on Sunday with Laree and Sharon was a full house — so incredibly relaxing and filled with such beautiful energy. 💫

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — your presence made the space feel calm, connected, and truly special. It was the most relaxing way to end the week, with the soothing vibrations of the bowls, the peaceful stillness of the Yoga Nidra, and of course, the beautiful snacks and warm chai to complete the day. 🫖 🧁

We’re so grateful for this amazing community and can’t wait to share more special experiences like this together. 💖

We are very excited to welcome Laree Fahey back to the studio for our Sound Bowl & Yoga Nidra event next Sunday 2nd November.

Long term members would remember the lovely Laree who used to teach at the studio a few years back with her regular sound bowl/yin class.

She will be playing the sound bowls next week alongside Sharon Matthews who will guide us through a Yoga Nidra meditation, designed to melt your body and mind into complete relaxation.

The perfect way to end the weekend!

Tips for beginners to yoga...

Focus on Your Breath: 

Pay attention to your instructor's cues on breathwork, as it's a fundamental part of yoga. 

Listen to the Teacher: 

Follow the instructor's words and guidance rather than worrying about their body or advanced poses. 

Modify as Needed: 

If a pose feels difficult, remember that modifications are available. 

Be Patient: 

Don't rush through poses or feel pressured to achieve advanced versions right away. 

Feel the Sensations: 

It's normal to experience a range of feelings, from joy to uncertainty. Acknowledge these without judgment.
