Be Centre Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting children, young people and families impacted by emotional, behavioural, and mental health difficulties. A child is reported abused or neglected in Australia every two minutes, and every day the most vulnerable children and their families depend on Be Centre’s services. Be Centre provides a safe, therapeutic, confidential and caring environment to help children make sense of situations and events, explore and express their feelings, restore trust and build self confidence. Be Centre also offers parent counselling and skills courses to ensure the children get the support they need at home. We work with children, families, organisations and government and are continually expanding our services to meet increasing demand. We are dedicated to early intervention, stopping cycles of harm and helping children heal from difficulties and trauma so they can create a brighter future.

Recently, we were very lucky to take part in an insightful and fun day with the incredible team at Leading Edge Professional Development.

Through this unique equine experience, members of our team were able to reflect on their own leadership and communicative styles and abilities, learning through theory, models and tools provided throughout the session.

This was an incredibly insightful experience, that allowed for a deeper reflection and sense of self-awareness in the areas of leadership, communication and approach within a team.

The work that the amazing team at Leading Edge Professional development is truly transformational.

A huge thank you on behalf of Be Centre to all that joined us at our fabulous Golf Day event on the 30th of September.

Thanks to the generosity and support of all those who attended, we raised an incredible $70,000 for the children and families of Be Centre.

This money goes directly towards helping better the mental health of the children and families who come to Be Centre, and goes a long way in helping change lives.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness and generosity!

Today is World Mental Health Day.

The overall objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilize efforts in support.

As a children's mental health charity, we face the statistics that are hard to hear and even harder to see. But here at Be Centre we strive to better these statistics and make a real change, by working with children alongside their families to equip them with the tools they need to face the adversity that they have experienced.

With your help, we are able to support these children and families through Play Therapy, and help change lives, and slowly change these statistics.

On a day like today, there is never a better time to reflect on your own mental health, and think how can you help better it, or help someone else better theirs ❤️

Yesterday Be Centre was very lucky to be involved in Capstone Recruitment's Golf Day for 2025!

For the second year running, Capstone Recruitment has supported Be Centre through this Golf Day, allowing us to attend and raise funds for the children in need of our support.

We are very pleased to share that we raised over $11,000 to support these children and families!

A huge thank you again to Capstone Recruitment for hosting this day, and for your consistent support of Be Centre.

We would also like to extend a big thank you to and for donating the fantastic prizes that went into our raffle, helping us raise these funds.

Warm up your swing and get excited because next Tuesday, 30th September is our Annual Charity Golf Day!

We are very excited and would like to thank the incredible sponsors and supporters who have made this day possible.

A little bit about our NEW Golf Day venues…

We invite you to join us at ‘Canapes for a Cause’, our post-golf day celebration held at the Mona Social!

After the golfing portion of the day concludes, our golfers will be joined by partners, friends, colleagues and Be Centre supporters for a canapes event held at the Mona Social, the beautiful new Boathouse Group venue.

We invite everyone to join us, not just our golfers, as this is an open-invite event for all supporters and friends of Be Centre.

Date: Tuesday 30th September, 2025
Time: 5:00pm-8:30pm
Location: Mona Social [Level 1/3 Golf Ave, Mona Vale NSW 2103]

Expect a lively and entertaining evening with delicious canapes, a drink on arrival, great conversation and some fantastic activations including a live auction and raffle!

Tickets to the canapes event can be purchased using the same form as golf ticket purchases. A ticket to this after-event is included in all golf and fourball ticket purchases. Limited spots left available for golf, so don’t miss out and book now!
