Exciting times ahead: a maternity leave break, and a new collaboration!

Team TNC are excited to announce that we have been working on a collaboration with Bop Orthotics, who will be co-located with us in our new Therapy Space!

Shanelle Whitson - Orthotist at Bop - will be heading off on maternity leave shortly, and will be returning in late 2024 to her new location at The Neuro Collective. We can’t wait to welcome Shanelle to our new space and look forward to working closely alongside her!

💛 This fun pair of AFOs are ready for a lovely young lady who needs help with her toe walking- and as a lover of both the colour yellow and also puppies, I’d say her choice of AFO pattern is just perfect! 🐶 💛

Very exciting news for our profession, improving access to services for so many of our clients!

Announcing the Orthotic, Prosthetic and Pedorthic Private Health Insurance Schedule! 🙌

AOPA is pleased to announce the endorsement of a profession-specific Schedule by Private Healthcare Australia. This Schedule will decrease administrative burden and increase transparency and timeliness of rebates for consumers of Orthotic/Prosthetic services.

AOPA’s advocacy work to establish an endorsed Schedule has spanned over a decade. We would like to thank all members that have contributed to today’s announcement, in particular our Private Practice Reference group.

We would also like to acknowledge our collaborators, Private Healthcare Australia and the Pedorthic Association of Australia.

We look forward to working with Funds now to advocate for Schedule adoption and implementation, enabling clients to easily access rebates when you provide orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic services.
