I vividly remember my first Pilates class. I hated every second of it. During some impossible abdominal work I vowed never to return. But as I was walking out I annoyingly realised that I felt good. Maybe because it was over..or maybe because my spine felt more upright, if that was possible. It was intriguing and that kept me returning until one day I realised I didn’t really hate it (even though I’d much prefer to be doing Yoga). For me Pilates is like yoga’s sensible sister; the side of veggies to your Parma. I am so excited to be teaching mat Pilates again (perhaps my favourite of them all!) and would love for you to join me on Friday mornings at The Space starting this week! We’ll use all the props and flow for a speedy 45mins, getting you outta there in time to get on with your day..I promise you (maybe) won’t hate it…
