Warrnambool SLSC is located on the foreshore of Lady Bay in Warrnambool. A great stretch of beach for recreational & surfing activities.

Our members patrol Warrnambool's main beach all summer and we offer a social, sport and nipper memberships.

The Phantoms (Xavier Thornton, Leigh Kane, Toby Pettigrew, Alex Gynes) won all three heats and made it to the finals.

Just a friendly reminder that there are only three skills maintenance theory sessions remaining before the patrol season begins.

This year, the CPR theory component will be completed at the club, with water practicals taking place during your first scheduled patrol.

Club President John McNeil, Vice President Travis Madigan, and Club Captain Josephine McDowall are proudly representing the Warrnambool SLSC at the 2025 Surf Life Saving Australia National Awards of Excellence in Sydney tonight.

They’ll present to a judging panel ahead of the announcement of the Australian Club of the Year at tomorrow night’s awards ceremony.

Join Victoria’s greatest club! You Don’t Need a Bronze Medallion to Get Involved!

Join our club and be part of the fun this summer — from beach patrols and Nippers to carnivals and social events.

We’re always looking for volunteers to help with roles such as:

• Radio Operator – support our surf patrols

• Age Manager – guide and mentor Nippers

• Carnival Official – help run surf and swim events

• BBQ & Event Catering – keep our Nippers and members fed and happy

• Training & Assessment – assist with lifesaver education

• Club Administration – manage memberships and carnival entries

• Social Events – help organise fun and inclusive gatherings

Come and be part of a healthy, family-friendly community this summer!
