πŸŽ€ GO PINK DAY – 10th June πŸŽ€

Akooramak is going pink to support breast cancer awareness and fundraising πŸ’•

We’re going all out this year β€” with pink hair, pink outfits, and plenty of fun, plus you’ll spot our community cars around town from the start of June all decked out in pink! πŸ’—πŸš—

Our team, the Akooramak Pink Warriors, is on a mission to raise $500, and every single dollar counts – even $1 can make a difference!

We invite everyone to get involved, wear pink, and help us support such an important cause. Together, we can make an impact πŸ’—

I've made a pledge to GO PINK and WEAR IT, SHAVE IT or COLOUR IT this June to raise funds in support of world-class breast cancer research. Please help me reach my goal and donate today!

We would like to thank Catherine, Kristina and their families for the beautiful plaque donated in honour of the late Jan Hegarty.

Jan had a true passion for gardening and spent many hours lovingly caring for our garden, which she kept looking beautiful.

We are honoured to display this special plaque in the garden she loved, in a place that reflects her care and dedication 🌿

On the 15th of April at 0647am Director of care Mattisse and her Husband Ryan introduced their beautiful daughter Miss Lyla Maree Williams into the world.

Both mum and bub were transferred to Toowoomba Hospital for some further treatment and care but are both doing extremely well and hoping to be in their own home in Warwick by Monday.

Today we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the family of the late Bob Hart for their generous donation of a Yamaha keyboard.

We would also like to thank Jim Kelly for playing the beautiful music, the RSL Sub-Branch members and our Board members and Henry Hart for taking the time to come in and present this wonderful gift.

We truly appreciate your kindness and support. Music is so important to our residents – it is therapeutic, brings joy, and creates meaningful connections. We know this beautiful keyboard will be enjoyed by many for years to come 🎢

We had a wonderful time today celebrating our Residents Easter Raffle πŸ£πŸ’›

The Easter Bunny made a special visit, spreading smiles and joy! We were also lucky to have our cheeky monkey friends George and Georgina join in on the fun – they were definitely a big hit (as always!) with plenty of babysitters keeping a close eye on them πŸ’πŸ˜‚

A fantastic day filled with laughter, excitement!
Happy Easter everyone have a great weekend!! 🐰🌸
