Hello Everyone,
This is an update for our clients, regarding the re-opening and gradual resumption of in-person speech pathology services.
As you are aware, for the past couple of months we have been conducting all speech pathology services via our online platform. This decision was made voluntarily and in line with advice from the Australian Government and Speech Pathology Australia, in relation to reducing risk during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following recent Government announcements, we are now planning for a phased resumption of in-person intervention and assessment services.
In seeking to resume services, we will put additional rigorous cleaning and hygiene practices in place as well as measures for physical distancing in the waiting room.
As we seek to support you, we ask that you respect the clinic staff and other clients by rescheduling appointments if you are feeling unwell.
Home visits are unable to resume at this time and visits to educational settings are only available by individual arrangement.
If you feel that you would prefer to continue your speech pathology service online, please discuss this prior to your next appointment or when scheduling a new appointment.
We will continue to update you as needed and please contact me if you wish to discuss your situation.
Warm Regards,
Chrystal Symons
