2025 — the year I said yes.

As this yearly cycle comes to an end, I find myself in deep reflection.

This was the year I chose to say yes and go with it…
to choose myself, and what I truly needed — even when it stretched me, even when it was outside my comfort zone, even when it made me nervous.

A year of trying new things.
Of gently getting out of my own way.
Of visiting the deeper parts of myself.

It was also a year of surrender.
Of letting myself be supported — especially with my health and my body.
A quiet acceptance that I couldn’t do it all alone anymore… and I didn’t have to.

This year brought incredible women into my life — women who are now dear friends.
It brought big change too… selling my house and arriving to a beautiful new property.

It brought new skills and new threads — learning, creating, and remembering.
Ancestral skills. Survival skills. A deeper relationship with what it means to live, to care, to tend.

And so much more that words can’t quite hold.

Now, as a new cycle begins, I feel myself planting seeds with intention.

Many blessings to you as we close this chapter.
And I invite you to take a moment to reflect on your own year.
What you’re ready to release… and what you want to cultivate in the next.

✨ xx

Have you ever felt like you’re just moving through the motions of each day…

feeling numb, disconnected, or simply getting through?
Like you’re not really living — just surviving?

Chances are, you may be caught in a survival response. You’re not alone, I’ve been there many times. Sometimes, I didn’t even realise it till ages later.

Survival mode can be subtle.
You might notice your body feels constantly on edge or overstimulated.
Maybe you find it hard to slow down, rest, or switch off.
You may feel distant or disconnected from yourself and others.
Perhaps you catch yourself saying “yes” to keep the peace or pleasing others to avoid conflict and stay safe.
You might stay busy just to feel in control, filling every moment so you don’t have to feel what’s underneath.
Or you may simply feel detached from your emotions or your body, like you’re watching life happen rather than living it.

The survival response is the body’s way of keeping you safe, even long after the moment has passed.
We can live in this state for long periods of time, and because the body is so adaptive, it can start to feel completely normal.

Survival mode often develops when the body has had to cope with too much for too long- chronic stress, overwhelm, emotional load, lack of support, childhood conditioning, or moments where it didn’t feel safe to express or feel.

The nervous system adapts.
It learns to stay alert, stay busy, shut down, or disconnect as a way to protect you.
And when this goes on for a long time, it becomes familiar… almost invisible… yet still shapes how you move through the world.

But the body can shift.

You can support yourself out of survival by offering your system what it never had in those overwhelming moments: safety.
Safety through breath, grounding, presence, connection, and allowing your body to finally process what it once had to hold alone.

It takes awareness, gentleness, and commitment,
but once you recognise these patterns, you begin to understand yourself more deeply.
And from there, change and healing becomes possible.

Support helps create safety.Safety creates openness. And from that openness, healing, growth, and transformation begin.

Your life is a art work of all your experiences.

So often we’re looking too closely at just one part,
seeing only the knots, the loose threads,
the places that feel tangled or unfinished.

But when you pause…
when you gently zoom out…

You may begin to notice.
The colours of your joy.
The shadows that shaped you.
The textures of every season you’ve lived through.

Your life is an artwork
ever-evolving, ever-unfolding.

Allow yourself to feel, all of it, the discomfort, the uncertainty, the heaviness, and the restlessness. Breathe into it. Let it move through you. Let it flow. Trust that even in the moments that feel uncomfortable, there is healing, growth, and release. You don’t need to fix, resist, or control. Just be present with what is.

Simple things bring me so much joy.
Slow mornings, a cup of tea, sunshine on my skin, weaving, and bare feet in the garden.
No rush, no plans, hair undone, comfy daggy clothes, a good belly laugh...
the simple things that fill my soul.

And when your daughter wants to take your photo, she somehow captures it all in one shot.

🌿 Nature Connection

Nature connection is such an important part of our wellness.
Just a few moments outside, listening to the birds, feeling sunlight on your skin, breathing in the fresh air, can shift everything.

Our breath deepens, our body softens, and our mind begins to quiet.
When we connect with nature, our whole system responds.

It calms the nervous system, reduces stress, lifts our mood, and restores balance.
Nature supports emotional regulation, enhances creativity, and brings clarity to the places that feel tangled.

She reminds us of our own cycles, our seasons, our rhythm, that we, too, are nature.

✨ Reweave ✨

Gather the loose threads,
gather your knots.

Unravel.
Surrender.
Create.
Reweave them into your deepest desire.

You hold the power to transform what feels tangled, knotted, and untouchable into something beautiful and alive.
Creation is not just an act, it’s a remembering of your own magic.
