Please note that Hastings Medical Centre will be closed across the Easter holiday period, including Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

We understand that health concerns don’t take a break during the holidays, so if you need medical assistance while we are closed, the following services are available 👇

🕕 We reopen Tuesday from 6:30am
Our team will be back bright and early Tuesday morning, ready to continue providing the quality care you know and trust.

🏥 Alternative Care Options During Closure:
• Wauchope Hospital Urgent Care – open 8:00am to 6:00pm for minor injuries and urgent medical needs
• Port Macquarie Base Hospital Emergency Department & Fast Track Urgent Care (Wrights Road, Port Macquarie)
• Mid North Coast Virtual Care Service – speak with a nurse or doctor daily from 8:00am to 4:30pm on (02) 6589 2515
• Medicare 1300 Medicare – for after-hours health support and advice

Our NBN service is still currently down, however our phone lines are now back online. Please be aware there may still be some intermittent difficulties with phone service while repairs continue.

NBN technicians will be on site today to repair the damaged fibre connection.

⚠️ Telephone / Internet Outage Notice – Hastings Medical Centre Wauchope ⚠️

Please be advised that we are currently experiencing an unexpected outage affecting our NBN service, which means our telephone system is also unavailable at present.

As a result, incoming and outgoing phone calls to the practice are currently impacted.

We understand this is inconvenient and apologise for the disruption. We are working to have services restored as quickly as possible and will provide an update as soon as normal service resumes.

Friday 26 December – Boxing Day

Our IT provider is actively working with our communications provider to resolve the issue. We’ve been informed that the problem is at the wholesale level and is affecting multiple NBN connections across different sites. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated as we know more. Please be advised that our center will be closed on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday Monday. We understand the importance of healthcare during the holidays, which is why we want to ensure you have all the information you need for alternative care options during this time.
We will reopen on Tuesday morning at 6:30 am, ready to welcome you back and continue providing the high-quality care you trust.
For urgent medical needs throughout the Easter weekend, Wauchope Hospital Urgent Care will be operational from 8 am to 6 pm. Their dedicated team is prepared to assist with any minor injuries or more urgent healthcare needs you may encounter.
