We love LED light therapy!
When used regularly LED light therapy can be visibly helpful to your skin’s surface and even deeper tissues, we also love it as an add-on treatment as a way to enhance or amplify other procedures.
So what does each wavelength help with?
🔴 Red Light : Penetrates deeper to stimulate fibroblasts, increase collagen/elastin production, reduce inflammation, and speed up healing of wounds or scars.
🔵 Blue Light: Targets the superficial layer of the skin to eliminate acne-causing bacteria and control oil production.
🟣 Near-Infrared Light: Penetrates deepest into tissue to promote muscle recovery, pain relief, and deep tissue repair.
Combined Therapy Uses
• Acne Treatment: Blue light reduces acne bacteria and oil, while red light reduces the resulting inflammation.
• Skin Rejuvenation: Combining red and near-infrared helps reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage by accelerating cell repair.
• Joint/Muscle Pain: Infrared and red light are combined to improve circulation and reduce pain.
LED light therapy is a treatment that requires regular use for noticeable results.
We offer LED series packages at our clinic and as an optional add-on to a lot of our other treatments.
However, if you can’t get to the clinic on a regular basis we recommend investing in an at-home LED mask! We love the .official Bright-On LED mask (and have them available at our Wauchope clinic!).
While at-home masks won’t be as powerful as our in-clinic device, all of our staff have tested the Bright-On LED mask for at least a week at home and were all pleasantly surprised at the great results! So if you would find it easier to put aside 15-30 minutes every day or so at home, the Bright-On LED mask will help benefit your skin.
Book your LED light therapy, add it on to your next appointment, or purchase your very own deice to use at home (available at our Wauchope clinic)
