This post is purely educational — it’s about the importance of honesty and transparency within our industry. When someone lists “20 years nursing or industry experience,” it can easily be interpreted by the public as 20 years of injecting experience, which is often not the case.

It’s exactly this kind of misrepresentation that’s placed all of us under increasing AHPRA scrutiny. As nurses, we owe it to each other — and to our patients — to uphold clarity, integrity and professionalism in how we present ourselves.
