We are a busy, community-focused pharmacy seeking a reliable and organised Stock Control Assistant to join our friendly team five days per week.
About the Role
This position plays an important role in ensuring our pharmacy operates efficiently through accurate stock management, catalogue coordination, and reporting. You will support both our dispensary and retail teams to help deliver exceptional customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ordering and receiving pharmacy stock
• Managing invoices and supplier credits
• Monitoring stock levels and expiry dates
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Coordinating promotional catalogues and in-store ticketing
• Implementing catalogue price changes and ensuring compliance
• Generating and analysing stock and sales reports
• Assisting with stocktakes and discrepancy investigations
• Organising dispensary and front-of-shop stock
• Liaising with wholesalers and suppliers
About You:
• Previous stock control experience (pharmacy experience highly regarded)
• Experience with catalogues, promotions, or retail reporting desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently/group environments and meet deadlines
• Confident communication and computer skills
