As mothers, we so often put ourselves last. We carry so much, give so much, and are often the hardest on ourselves. I see it all the time in clinic. Mothers wait until the symptoms become too big to ignore before finally seeking help.

So this is your reminder and your sign, mama. You are worthy of being cared for. You are worthy of rest, nourishment, support, and so much more than you allow yourself to believe. Taking time for yourself is not selfish. It is necessary.

Celebrate yourself. Take time out for you. Nourish yourself the same way you pour into everyone else.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing mothers out there. You deserve care too. 💛

I still remember feeding my third baby and thinking, I do not want to leave him. 😕

I didn’t want to hand him over to childcare. I didn’t want to spend my days separated from him. But at the same time, I deeply cared about my patients and the practice I had spent years building. 

I felt completely torn. 😓

I was working constantly, emotionally carrying so many people, trying to raise three children, and still living week to week in a tiny townhouse in Kensington. The pressure of it all was draining me.

What hit me hardest was realising how limited I was by my own time. No matter how much I cared, no matter how hard I worked, there was only so much of me to go around.

I knew I needed to find a different way of working.

So I sought support. I joined Tammy Guest’s coaching group, surrounded myself with women who wanted more for their lives too, and built my very first course.

That experience changed the trajectory of my life. 🙂‍↕️

The biggest shift wasn’t talent or luck. It was having support, strategy, and accountability. Three things that are incredibly hard to create on your own.

Over the last 8 years, I’ve refined, tested, failed, learnt, rebuilt, and developed a process that allows me to take an idea and bring it to life far faster and with far less overwhelm.

That process has helped me create more freedom with my time, contribute financially in ways I once only hoped for, fund private school fees, travel overseas with my family, and build projects deeply meaningful to me, including our Indigenous boarding house opening in January 2026. 😍🥳
