Painful bloating before your period? It’s not something you should ‘just have to put up with’ 🌼

That swollen, heavy feeling in the days before your period can be linked to hormone imbalance.

As progesterone and oestrogen begin to drop, this shift can impact digestion, fluid balance and inflammation.

For some of us, that can lead to:

~ slower digestion + constipation
~ increased bloating + gas
~ water retention + puffiness
~ increased abdominal sensitivity

And if your gut is already under stress - from constipation, IBS, dysbiosis, high stress, or an inflammatory diet - symptoms can feel even more intense.

Some gentle starting points:
~ fermented foods like kimchi and kefir
~ warm, cooked veggies
