I am excited to share I am teaching classes this long weekend at The Citadel in Crows Nest ๐ง๐ปโโ๏ธ.
โWhen Iโm stuck between a rock and a hard place, let me be water.โ ๐ฆ
This quote will be the anchor for our Sunday and Monday yoga offerings at the Citadel in Crows Nest. With the rain falling yesterday, and the Water element of Winter in Traditional Chinese Medicine, it feels like the perfect time to connect with the element of water... within.
I cannot remember where I saw this quote. It really resonated with me, perhaps a deep hope and aspiration. Let's face it, most of the time we struggle, it feels far less graceful....
Perhaps it is as much about how, as it is KNOWING, we will get through. For me it speaks to an invitation to trust ourselves and our capacity to meet what comes with greater equanimity and surrender, rather than resistance and struggle.
I donโt want to sugarcoat hard times or slap on toxic positivity. But I do want to honour the quiet resilience we all carry. The capacity to be with, move through, and grow from the hard stuff... and embrace peace and joy on the other side. I see this capacity in my friends, students and clients every day and in the seasons from winter to spring โ๏ธ ๐ฑ๐ท๐ธ.
I hope you can join me.
