Last week, our incredible General Manager, Lucia, rolled up her sleeves and volunteered with Food on the Table, a local initiative delivering warm, nourishing meals to people doing it tough, including those facing homelessness and families in need.

At Carelink Support Services, we believe that well-supported support workers lead to better-supported participants.

That’s why we regularly run training and upskilling sessions across the team — just like this one. This week, our focus was on using our new app and system, Visual Care, including how to submit shift notes, log incident reports, and what to do if you forget to clock off (hey, it happens!).

These moments of connection and training aren’t just about ticking compliance boxes — they’re about building confident, capable teams who are equipped to deliver the best care possible.

We had a blast at the SIL Summit in Adelaide! 💥

A huge thank you to the amazing Tania Gomez Consulting and her team for hosting such an insightful event. We were lucky enough to meet Tania in person and win a $200 gift card – bonus! 🎉

One big takeaway? The power of storytelling in SIL – showing, not just telling, and how visuals and stories connect more deeply than pages of text. Such a great reminder in our work.

We also walked away with a deeper understanding of just how complex and important SIL delivery really is – and how much heart it takes to do it right. 💙

A Sunday Well Spent at Mount Lofty 🥾🌿

This past Sunday, our Director, Mustapha led Seth, Sam and Nicole on a day hike up Mount Lofty!

At Carelink Support Services, we believe in creating opportunities for connection, independence and growth, and this hike was a perfect example of that. Group activities like these don’t just offer a chance to get active and explore nature, they’re also all about building confidence, life skills, and a strong sense of community.

Huge shoutout to Seth, Sam and Nicole for embracing the challenge (and the adventure!) with such positivity and to Mustapha for leading the way, both on the trail and in supporting inclusive experiences that truly matter. 💜
