Reporting to the Building Supervisor, your qualifications and key responsibilities will be, but not limited to the following :
• Post Trade experience on a variety of Domestic, Commercial and Industrial worksites and mine sites.
• Confident in completing a wide range of carpentry work including (but not limited to) Second Fix carpentry, Plastering, Form work + concreting, Installing and servicing locks, Roof sheeting, Vinyl install, Install kitchens and cabinets, Painting and Fencing.
You will be required to have the following:
• Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery
• Battery Tools & Hand Tools
• Current Drivers Licence (Car and HR Truck preferred)
• Operators Ticket for Excavator and bobcat would be a bonus
• OHS Construction Card
• Current Police Clearance
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol medical

• Sound fault finding skills on a variety of refrigeration /air-conditioning automated controls systems.
• Experience maintaining large industrial/commercial refrigeration rack systems ie supermarket refrigeration, would be an advantage
• Mine site maintenance and camp experience for the fulfilment of various mining contracts is preferred
• Experience maintaining chilled water systems plant and equipment would be of an advantage
• Able to relocate to the township of Port Hedland a must - NO FIFO Offered

We are a complete Building Maintenance and service company servicing the domestic, commercial, industrial and mining sectors in and around Newman. Our services include Plumbing, Gas, Electrical, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Carpentry, Fencing and General Maintenance activities.
An exciting full time opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Plumber (General) to join CFC's Plumbing and Gas Section.
Role
This is a challenging and exciting residential role that will require you to help work, manage, monitor and motivate our busy plumbing and gas section. Your role will encompass the day to day work of plumbing activities including:
• Installing hot and cold water systems & associated equipment in a residential setting;
• Ability to read and interpret drawings to accurately installing plumbing systems;
• Work with gas including gas appliances, piping and flues;
• Fabrication and braising of metal pipes and associated components;
• Creation and set up of internal and external drainage systems;
• Installation of air conditioning and heating systems;
• Estimating costs of materials and ordering of the same;
• Liaising with clients and management;
• Supervision of junior staff;
• Other duties as directed.
Suitable candidates should possess a trade certificate in the field and have at least 2 years experience in plumbing and gas. A full Full Gas Licence is desirable and you must have a white card and C class drivers licence.
