Day Activity clients enjoyed celebrating St Patrick's Day yesterday with a green themed day. We enjoyed a taste of the past with a green ice cream soda (also known as a spider or purdie), a yummy 'green' lunch & ended the day testing out the luck of the Irish with St Pats themed bingo.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Seniors Week with our amazing clients and community! 💙

Our week kicked off on Monday with a bus trip to Premer, stopping along the way at Blue Bird Café in Boggabri for a delicious morning tea before heading to the Premer Pub for lunch.

On Wednesday, we proudly partnered with the Lions Club & Wee Waa Country Women's Association for a lovely luncheon at the Wee Waa Bowling Club. A big congratulations to Denise Horne who was named the Lions 2026 Senior of the Year. A very well-deserved recognition! 👏

Our clients also attended the Narrabri Seniors Luncheon at the Crossing Theatre on Thursday, enjoying a fantastic day out with entertainment and good company.

To wrap up a fantastic week of celebrations, we joined everyone for a lovely lunch at Karinga Village in Wee Waa on Sunday.

Thank you to everyone who helped make Seniors Week so special. It’s always wonderful celebrating the incredible seniors in our community! 🌟

🚍 Wee Waa to Tamworth Community Bus Service 2026 Dates Now Available!

Our Wee Waa to Tamworth Community Bus provides a vital transport link for local residents, making it easier to access appointments, shopping, and services not available in Wee Waa.

The bus also offers connection points for community members living in surrounding areas. If you’d like to link in, just give us a call we’re here to help.

The Community Bus runs every second Wednesday throughout 2026, with pick-up and drop-off locations arranged to suit your needs.

🚌 Whether you’re heading to appointments, getting some shopping done, or simply enjoying a day out, our team is ready to get you there safely and comfortably.

Great news! Our 2026 Tamworth bus dates are now out! The community bus runs a fortnightly trip every second Wednesday, giving you the perfect opportunity to get your shopping done, attend appointments, or enjoy a fun day out.

Seats do fill up quickly, so be sure to book ahead!
