Good news! Our community bus is running a fortnightly trip to Tamworth every second Wednesday. It’s a great chance to get your shopping done, attend appointments, or just enjoy a day out. Seats do fill up quickly, so be sure to book ahead.

Last week our Social Outings group had a fantastic adventure to Grawin Opal Fields. We enjoyed delicious scones at the Sheepyard Inn, drinks at the Glengarry Hilton & a lovely lunch at the Club in the Scrub. Everyone had a great day exploring this unique part of the country.

On Saturday night board & staff members attended the 2025 Narrabri Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. We were nominated in the Not for Profit/Community Organisation category & although we weren't winners, it was a fantastic event & a great chance to get dressed up and enjoy ourselves.

Footy season is almost over & we have a winner in our hotly contested tipping comp - he was over the moon to receive his winners cap & prize.

Today is National Meals on Wheels Day - a day to celebrate our local volunteers, customers and community members who have made our organisation what it is today & continue to support us.

More than just a meal - our dedicated staff and volunteers bring a friendly face along with reassurance, connection, and help to keep people living independently in their own homes for longer.

We deliver nutritious hot meals within Wee Waa Mon-Fri & have frozen meals available for rural deliveries, or to have on hand for extra convenience.

Please consider getting involved by volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word about this vital service and help us ensure we're here for generations to come.

Last Friday we travelled to Pilliga Pottery for our May monthly social outing. It was a great day that included a yummy lunch at the Blue Wren Cafe & a pottery class to make these cute little houses.
