Well, the post that we've been delaying to put up is here... Unfortunately, yesterday was Cheryl's last day with us, moving into a very well earned retirement. Thankfully, Cheryl has been coming to see Dr Tessa since 1997, and she hhas said that "There is no chance of that stopping anytime soon" so we'll still be able to see her around the clinic!

Good luck Cheryl and we look forward to seeing you when you come for an adjustment!

Severs disease, or calcaneal apophysitis, is a painful inflammation of the cartilaginous growth center at the site of insertion for the calcaneal tendon.

In children and adolescents, the epiphyseal growth plate is 2-5 times weaker than in adults. This means that children are more likely to suffer epiphyseal injuries from stressors that would likely cause sprains and strains in adults.

This past weekend, Bradley went down to Melbourne to attend the Fédèration Intenationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) at the KGM Collingwood training centre to learn about sports injuries, rehabilitation methods and adjusting techniques for the lower limb.

It was an amazing experience and a lot for him to share in the clinic with everyone.

Had a very cute visitor in today. Dr Karen had her Bearded Dragon, Rex, come along to check out the clinic.
The cool part was seeing him level his head on our hand, something that we test here in the clinic a lot!
