In this modern world of ours where life is spent on mobile phones, at computers, driving, doing bookwork, bending over hobbies and crafts in constant flexion; we are becoming more and more rounded into kyphosis with tightness through the pecs. Using your foam roller and light weights for an arm series, is a great way to stretch the chest. And as an added bonus challenge your core as you attempt to stay steady on your roller. No roller? Use a rolled and folded towel instead. Less challenging but certainly beneficial! πŸ’›πŸ’™

It's easy to stay hydrated in Summer when your thirst drives you to drink water. But in Winter when it's cold, it's much harder to keep that hydration level up. So Tuesday's tip on the back of being concerned about a dear client yesterday is.... drink herbal teas. Not only will you be working on your hydration, but herbal teas are great for gut health, and extra bonus....holding a mug of tea is a great way to keep your hands warm. πŸ’›πŸ’™

Inner Strength Pilates was established in the Redlands in 2008 and has offered quality Pilates instruction since that time. We were the first in the area to cater to small group matwork and small group reformer classes long before franchised fitness Pilates studios became popular. Angela in her never-ending quest to help people grow, recover and live their best life continues to commit to continuing education and has a special focus on work for osteoporosis, the elderly, and those who have undergone treatment for cancer.
