Tharpa Choeling - Wellington Buddhist Centre Buddhist centre located in Wellington NSW Australia. We run meditation sessions, Buddhist and secular workshops and Yoga and Tai Chi classes

We have been teaching meditation and Buddhism in Wellington New South Wales since 2007 and in the central west since 2001. At our new centre, set in the grounds of a former garden centre, we offer meditation, Buddhist workshops, with many more activities planned for the future. Tharpa Choeling was named by Venerable Geshe Thubten Dawa, a highly respected Tibetan master in the Gelug Buddhist tradition. Geshe Dawa's main teacher is the 15th Lab Kyabgon Rinpoche. We hold His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama as the head of our lineage.

Postponing and cancelling of classes! Unfortunately due to COVID we will be cancelling our classes this week and next week. The next Yoga class will be Thursday 11th September and the next Tai Chi class will be Friday 12th September.
Our Workshop "Why oh why do I have to die?" will be postponed till Sunday 14th September 10am to 2pm.

Thank you to our wonderful Volunteers! 🙏 Today they planted, filled and composted, raking fallen leaves and adding them to our garden beds in the veggie patch, planting potatoes and garlic. They also cut back some tree branches blocking our solar panels. ☘️🍁🌲☀️🙏
