This week, we have sought to honour the voices, cultures, and languages of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are the First Voices of Australia.
We recognise that communication is more than just words. It’s about identity, connection, and story.
We are committed to learning from, respecting, and amplifying First Nations voices in our practice.

Did you know that middle ear infection (glue ear) can affect your child’s ability to hear speech sounds clearly?
This common condition in young kids often flies under the radar, but it can make it harder for little ears to pick up important sounds like “s”, “sh” and “t”, which are key for learning to talk clearly and confidently.
Swipe through to learn how middle ear fluid (glue ear) can impact speech and language development, and what you can do if you suspect your child has a middle ear infection.
🩺 Regular ear checks with your GP can make a big difference!

Today we’re celebrating the amazing people at our front desk.
The first friendly faces you see when you walk into our clinics and the calm and confident voices you hear on the phone.
But what they do goes far beyond booking appointments and greeting families.
They juggle schedules, soothe anxious little ones, support our team, and help everything run smoothly (often all at once!)
Thank you to our reception team for going above and beyond every single day. We’re so lucky to have you! 💛

Big feelings need connection, not correction.
Co-regulation is when we support our children through their emotional ups and downs by staying calm, connected, and present.
There are simple, practical ways you can support your child’s emotional regulation through co-regulation, especially during those tricky moments.
Be the calm in their storm.
Reduce language and demands.
Label and Validate their feelings.
Sit with, and hold space for, big feelings.
