With WA's Public Health State of Emergency coming to an end last Friday, masks are now no longer mandatory within allied health clinics.

However, if you feel more comfortable, you are more than welcome to continue to wear a mask when you visit!

This week we're celebrating OT Week!!

The theme for this year is "What OT Means To Me". For us, Occupational Therapy means being about to "Provide guidance and empower people towards recovery and a healthier life."

We understand that at many venues masks are no longer required. Unfortunately at our clinic WA Health has still mandated masks.

While we do have a few masks on hand in you forget yours, we are unable to supply them for everyone, at every visit.

We would really appreciate your cooperation in this, so please, if you have an appointment with us, remember to bring a mask!

As soon as these rules change, we will be sure to update you.

Laurie is our all-knowing, ever supportive, fearsome leader and the founder of Health Central. His vision is why we’re here doing what we do!

With over 35 years’ experience, he is often affectionately referred to as ‘The Guru’. He has travelled all over the world sharing his passion and knowledge of all things Soft Tissue Occupational Therapy.

Always happy to deep dive in to any topic, he’s sure to blow your mind with all the facts and figures he knows. Laurie has treated Gold Medal Olympians, National Gymnasts, Professional Dancers, Basketballers and probably your next-door neighbour too!

From 12.01am, Friday 29th April, the requirement to wear masks in many settings will be gone.

While our clinic is not classed as a high-risk environment, we regularly see a high volume of people come through our doors every week.

As a team, we have decided that even though masks are no longer mandated on our premises, they are encouraged.

You will see many of us wearing masks on site over the next few weeks, however, we will always respect your individual choice.

We thank you for your cooperation as together we take this next step to getting back to normal.
