Murray House held a very successful Christmas Fundraiser which would not have been possible without the support of some amazing businesses:
Kings Transport Outback Almonds Captain Sturt Hotel Mildura Working Man's Club Char-Flair Hair and Beauty Trentham Estate Winery Maloney Anderson Legal Sunraysia Civil Pty Ltd Wentworth District Racing Club red dirt lamb Country Care Group Wattle Hill Collective One Stop Cleaning Supplies Midway Market Place IGA Thomson Linen Wentworth Shire Council Bysouths Garage Wentworth Pharmacy Wentworth Post Office.
The purpose of the fundraiser was to refresh the common areas that are looking dated, such as the lounge areas, BBQ area and smaller dining areas.
With the money raised before the raffle, we were able to purchase, two outdoor settings, each seating up to 14 pax so the area can be used for internal functions and family get togethers, plus two big fans for the outdoor area for added comfort.
After the incredible success of the raffle along with donations and sponsorships our Fundraising Committee is going to have a wonderful time at the next meeting, planning the next purchases, to continue with the upgrade of lounge and dining areas.
So, with all the wonderful support we are pleased to announce that the final amount raised from the fundraiser was a whopping $8,280.
