Today, like many of you, we at The Royal Children's Hospital are grappling with enormous sorrow following reports of sexual abuse in Victorian childcare centres.
These children and families' lives will forever be marked by harm that should never have happened.
Every child deserves to be safe, without question. And every parent deserves to know their child is protected.
Our thoughts are with the families and children who may be impacted by this news and the unimaginable pain they are feeling.
