So many mamas tell me they want to move again but are confused on what’s ā€œsafeā€, where to start or are anxious about returning to movement, especially when it comes to core and pelvic floor and with their little one in tow.

You don’t need to be ā€œfitā€ or ready.
You just need a safe place to start.

As Prime Therapy, we know that behind every body is a story. Some chapter’s are filled with joy, some with heartbreak and often with both. Creating safe spaces means honouring all parts of motherhood, including the moments that are hardest to speak about.

We are proud to be part of the movement to get more Australian’s, more active, more often - starting with the mama’s in our communities!

Mums are the gateway to family health, when she moves safely and confidently, the ripple effect reaches her children, her partner, and her wider circle.

But when she is unsupported or told ā€œjust wait until your 6 week checkā€ she often stops altogether.

That’s why I have invited to attend a local session and see firsthand, how safe, effective, mum-focused exercise is changing lives - physically mentally and emotionally.

This action is part of a bigger conversation around preventative health, because keeping mamas healthy isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.

We are advocating for:
āœ”ļøPelvic health access for every mum
āœ”ļø Return to exercise guidance at all 6 week check ups
āœ”ļø Government funded exercise classes for new mums

If we want more Australians moving, we have to start with the ones raising them.
