The good news: it’s often preventable and treatable—if caught early.

🧐 Here’s what to look for:
🔍 New spots or moles
🔍 Changes in shape, size, or colour
🔍 Moles that bleed, itch, or don’t heal
🔍 Any spot that looks different from the rest

🗓️ Make it a habit—check your skin every 3 months and book in with your GP for a skin check once a year.
Early detection can save lives 💪

Big thank you to the patients and family who knitted / crotched all of these squares and blanket ties.
Finally finished putting together my 2nd blanket too.
Great to be part of the Knit a care square charity helping keep those in need warm this winter.
Any donations of small or large amounts of wool will help even more people this winter.

🚶‍♀️👟 National Walk Safely to School Day is Friday 16th May! 👟🚶‍♂️

Let’s get those feet moving and make the journey to school a fun, active and safe adventure!
Walking to school not only keeps kids healthy and energised, but it also helps reduce traffic congestion and is great for the environment.

💡 Tips for a safe walk:

✔️ Stick to footpaths and use pedestrian crossings.
✔️ Hold hands with younger children near roads.
✔️ Look left, right, and left again before crossing.
