About Us

We are a local community based organisation that supports people with mental health challenges and disability or both to achieve their goals and build connections with their community to live a more enriched life. We focus on delivering a service that is crafted around the participant's needs and gives the clients choice over when and how they receive support from our caring and professional staff.

About the Role
We are seeking individuals with the right attitude to join the Arise Care Team as Support Workers.
Primarily we provide 24/7 independent living support.
We endeavour to match our support workers to individuals who have similar values, interests and hobbies to set the foundation for positive relationship building. We are looking to hire experienced casual support workers with shifts ranging from sleepovers, weekends, day and afternoon shifts.

What do we need from you?
• A genuine passion for supporting people
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team
• An individual that values human rights, community, excellence, trust and empowers people to be their best.
• Hold a current Queensland Driver’s Licence (Provisional Licence holders welcome) or Valid International License (permitted in Australia Queensland)
• Experience in community services or disability/mental health support or lived experience of disability is highly regarded.
• Have a background in a Health related course (Added Advantage)
• First Aid + CPR
• Yellow and Blue Card
