This year’s Bay to Base was a testament to our amazing village. Wowsers - $15,567 raised for 🙌. Community at its absolute best. 🏝️✨

To the local businesses who stepped up with raffle prizes and to the trekkers who put in the k’s on the trails and the fundraising heart—thank you. You’ve helped raise much-needed funds for a charity that means so much to so many NQ families.

So proud of this total and everyone who played a part.

Thanks to the support of the legendary Maggie Island businesses below, we have put together the “Ultimate Maggie Adventure Raffle” with over $2600 of goodies on offer. All monies raised go straight to RMHC North Australia.

🥈Second prize - $713 value:
Best of Magnetic accommodation voucher + Aquascene Magnetic Island Discovery tour for two + SeaLink North Queensland family return pass

So proud of this event 🙌

I’m absolutely thrilled to share that The Great Island Trek has won the NQ Tourism and Events Award for Destination Event 🏆

And what a destination! I love Magnetic Island , and getting to showcase her beauty to every trekker who joins us is an absolute joy.

Wow! Our Trek and Sail with Pilgrim Magnetic Island also won for New Tourism Experience 🙌

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers who make the event happen and to everyone who voted. And thanks, Maggie Island, for making my job easy

Here’s to many more treks, more memories, and more moments celebrating the incredible place we’re lucky enough to call home.
