Unfortunately, the NDIA, even after being shown irrefutable evidence that the price cuts are based on flawed data, and that these cuts will negatively impact people with a disability and their families. They DON'T CARE, and are still planning to go ahead with the cuts, which come into effect in 4 days time.
A society should be judged by how well they treat their most vulnerable people. And we are embarrassed and appalled by the way this government and the NDIA are treating the very people they are supposed to be serving.
There are over 50,0000 signatures on the Stand Up for disability Support: Stop the NDIS Cuts petition. A huge thank you to everyone who has signed and shared it so far! Let’s keep this momentum going and make our voices even louder.

NDIS update:
This week, we presented independent, irrefutable evidence to the NDIA and the Office of Senator Jenny McAllister, Minister for the NDIS showing the proposed therapy pricing changes are based on flawed data and will make services unsustainable across metro, rural and regional areas.
Despite acknowledging the limitations of this data, the NDIA plans to proceed with changes from 1 July - putting lives and essential care at risk.
There’s still a fight ahead and we won’t step back. We continue to meet with government, agency leaders and sector partners.
We are encouraged by the support we’ve received from many across the health and disability sectors and our fight is only just beginning.
If you haven’t already joined us, the time is now for you to act.
Write to your MP. Sign our petition.
Speak to your participants and help them tell their story.
This decision must be paused now, before irreparable harm is done.
We have written to the Minister, urging her to intervene and exercise her legislative authority to direct the NDIA to halt these changes, engage in robust data analysis, and bring the sector to the table to co-design a sustainable, evidence-based path forward.
Join our action now.
