Seeking vibrant engaging Disability Support Workers to engage with our NDIS participants in the Townsville Region.
Empower people with disabilities while working towards their NDIS goals.
Ideally the successful candidate should have the following attributes:
-be willing to commit to a team.
Current "C" class drivers licence
Computer literacy and smart phone savvy
Be eligible to apply for a working with children check (blue card) and an exemption notice (yellow card).
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or a willingness to obtain one.
Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support Disability or a willingness to obtain one.

About the role
Providing day to day supports to people with physical, intellectual and/or mental disability.
Providing Community Access by transporting Clients in your vehicle.
Providing appropriate documentation for day to day supports.
Contribute to team approach and working collaboratively.
The ideal worker will be someone with the flexibility to work for short and long shifts, nights and weekends, with short notice if required.

Previous lived or paid experience in the provision of disability support for people with physical or intellectual disability is also highly desirable
or any other Demonstrated ability to meet the physical requirements of providing support as a Disability Support Worker.
