Kicking the year off with some goal achievements!

Candice supported Rhonda with her goal of moving out of her mum’s home and living independently with her son. By helping with documents, building technology skills, attending inspections, and applying for housing, Rhonda was able to move into a home she chose and made her own, all within a few months.

Candice also supported Jesse, who had a goal of travelling to and from school using public transport independently. By working step by step, practising the route together, and gradually building confidence, Jesse was travelling home on his own comfortably within one month🙌

Candice’s dedication, patience, and goal-focused approach make a real difference every day.

We’re so lucky to have her as part of the Platform To team!

We’re expanding our team and looking for support workers who are dedicated, flexible, and confident working with NDIS participants in their homes.

- About the Role

We are seeking workers who can provide:

Overnight support (sleepover or active night)

Personal care and daily living assistance

Behaviour support and emotional regulation

Safety monitoring and routine support

Accurate shift documentation

Flexible shifts available across various locations.

✔ Reliable and professional

✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Confident supporting participants in their own homes

- Mandatory Requirements

Applicants must have (or be willing to obtain):

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR

Working With Children Check (if required)

Driver’s licence + reliable vehicle

Relevant training (manual handling, medication, etc.)

What an incredible achievement!

Huge congratulations to Talia and her amazing support worker Von, who completed the 28.8km Bridges Walk in Sydney over the weekend! 👟💪

It was a beautiful, but seriously tough challenge (all on concrete), and they absolutely smashed it! 🏅

We love seeing our participants and support workers taking on big goals together and proving just how strong, determined, and unstoppable they are. 💙

🌟 June Highlights at Platform To! 🌟

This month has been a whirlwind of fun and learning! From cosy visits to the alpaca farm 🦙 to exploring the wonders of the zoo. Our cooking sessions brought out our inner chefs as we whipped up delicious meals together.

We also enjoyed the vibrant displays of Vivid Sydney, soaking in the colors and creativity that lit up our city ✨. And let’s not forget our exercise physiology sessions, where we focused on health and wellness while building strength and resilience 💪.

At Platform To, we believe in building skills both at home and in our community. Every experience is an opportunity to grow and connect!

The city was transformed into a dazzling wonderland of lights, art, and creativity.

Our participants did an amazing job navigating the busy crowds and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
