🌟 June Highlights at Platform To! 🌟

This month has been a whirlwind of fun and learning! From cosy visits to the alpaca farm 🦙 to exploring the wonders of the zoo. Our cooking sessions brought out our inner chefs as we whipped up delicious meals together.

We also enjoyed the vibrant displays of Vivid Sydney, soaking in the colors and creativity that lit up our city ✨. And let’s not forget our exercise physiology sessions, where we focused on health and wellness while building strength and resilience 💪.

At Platform To, we believe in building skills both at home and in our community. Every experience is an opportunity to grow and connect!

The city was transformed into a dazzling wonderland of lights, art, and creativity.

Our participants did an amazing job navigating the busy crowds and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.

This weekend we headed to Smash You Erina — and wow, what a blast! From swinging bats to letting it all out, we had an amazing time and felt the benefits of releasing stress in a fun, safe space. 🙌

Last Night’s Screening: Left Write Hook

What an incredible evening! We were honored to support our participant Jacquie as she facilitated the screening of Left Write Hook, alongside her support workers, Judith and Nikayla.

This powerful film shares an inspiring journey of resilience and self-expression. 🛑A content warning: Left Write Hook discusses child sexual abuse, highlighting the importance of reclaiming strength and empowerment through storytelling and trauma informed non-contact boxing.

A huge thank you to the creator and producer Donna Lyon for her incredible work in bringing these important stories to light. If you haven’t seen it yet, we urge you to watch!
