Backed by 10 years of research, development and clinical trials, the StandingTall app features more than 800 progressive, balance-focused exercises that require no special equipment. Even cooler? The app's content automatically adapts as users improve over time.

This week in news: The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care released new falls prevention guidelines.

Last updated in 2009, the guidelines now reflect recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, and they were developed to align with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards set to take effect in November.

This week in news: With the Support at Home program delayed until November, everyone in aged care now has more time to prepare for the change. That includes care recipients and their families, who can use this new online fee estimator to determine how much they might pay after the transition.
