Happy Equinox to all the barefoot heroes in the southern hemisphere! ✨👣✨

The equinox is a sacred day of equal parts light and dark- only two moments in the year when the Sun is exactly above the Equator and day and night are of equal length.

Additionally, the two points in the sky; the ecliptic (the Sun's annual pathway) and the celestial equator intersect -Inviting us to face outward as well as turn inward, and allow the intersection of our past and future to merge in the present.

As we connect to the balance in the sky and this moment of stillness before the Earth shifts directions, you’re invited to take time out to honour this sacred time ~ light a candle, raise a glass or just send some light and love out to the world! 💞🌍💞

~ ARC DE PILATES ~

Join us Wednesdays at 5:30pm or Thursdays at 9:30am for a Spinal Flow like no other, using the Pilates Arc.

The Spine Corrector also known as the Arc or Ladder Barrel was invented by Joseph Pilates invented in the 1930s or 1940s!

He recognized the need for a tool to specifically address spinal issues and improve flexibility and so using a curved, barrel-like shape apparatus that mimics the natural shape of the spine ~The Spine Corrector was born!

Today over 90 years later it is still a key piece of Pilates equipment, emphasizing the importance of spinal mobility and strength for overall health and fitness.

The light weight foam edition, by balanced body that we use in class offers support for back exercises and allows for controlled movements that stretch and strengthen the spine while improving your posture, breath and overall vitality.
