Our April wellness session is a fun WALKING GROUP!!!

No need to pay or donate- just book your spot via the link and I will see you there for a nice morning walk...and maybe a cheeky chai πŸ˜†

Our sessions run monthly, and provide a variety of exercise options!! Some are free and some require a small exchange. Theses groups are for females only, and help to promote a supportive environment for women to exercise in, especially those who experience anxiety.

My sessions can just be exercise...sure...if that's what you want let's do it!!! But if you want to get a bit deeper and understand some of your behaviors and why you do what you do....then I may be just the right kind of PT/ Mental Health OT for you!!

I am very select with who I work with. My areas of interest are youth and young adult Mental Health, and Geriatric Health. I only work with females who want to put in the work, to not only work on their physical health but also there Mental Health. I want you to want to work with me....to help you to function and open up new chapters in your life✨

It's all about you!!! And no that does not make you narcissitic! Sometimes we are taught to "be a better person" or "improve" to make others happy. But its not about other people ( unless your literally trying to hurt someone and that is your whole purpose in life....but you are not a serial killer though). It is about you and helping yourself and putting your needs first.

For example- It is about looking after your body and exercising not because you want your ex back....no no no....it is because you are doing it for YOU to be healthy and feel good on the inside!!!

Stop seeking validation from others when you need to receive it from yourself first!! If you have been conditioned to seek it from others....my darlings....that is some tricky stuff and if not addressed and worked on....can eat you out on the inside.

Not sure where to start....a good therapy session is what I say!! Working with a qualified ( huh hum....let me say it louder....QUALIFIED and not insta/google/self help book qualified) mental health therapist can begin to teach you the tools to start to validate yourself....and to work on yourself-for yourself.

P.S- yes I am one of those qualified therapists ( and I know many other great ones too).

Here is a nice small reminder to look after your mental health...and try something new like a Mindful Activity!! Now.......

Here is a nice small reminder to look after your mental health...and try something new like a Mindful Activity!! Now....many of my clients and patients in the past would scoff at me at the mere mention of Mindfulness...and that is OK!!! It is not for everyone. Just like CBT may not be your cup of T ( get it hehe) πŸ˜†

There are no quick fixes...and there is no "one set for all" kind of approach. You just gotsa try things until they stick! I hope this small info graphic helps you with that 😊✨

Calling all My Fulfilment Project Queens who Luuuuuurrrvvveee to DANCE!!! You may already (or not) know this, but I am the proud owner and director of πŸ’œ It's my creative outlet and most importantly I love to create a super fun atmosphere for other dancers in my workshops.

Gone are the days of "going to the gym to lose weight or get BIG" πŸ˜†

The gym represents so much more to people...and I think we need to remember not everyone goes to the gym for the same reason as you. We all move differently and have our own reasons why.

My why is to help me age as best as I can to maintain my independence ( build strong bones to fight osteoporosis, rehab exercises to get my shoulder functioning fully again, strong legs so I can pick myself up off the floor and not rely on someone else).

I would love to know that your why is?! I love hearing my clients reasons why, and helping them to reach their functional goals as a PT and OT.
