Global Cardiology are excited to introduce their new, architecturally designed premises on Wellington St, West Perth. This clinic has cardiac scanning technology provided by a state of the art CT scanner, the new Canon Aquilion One Genesis Edition, the first of its kind in WA. The architects, Archetype Design, drew many design cues from this CT scanning machine, not only from the shapes and forms of the machine, but also with the idea of new technology inevitably superimposing the old.
From a functional perspective, the key emphasis in the design was the non-clinical, creating a warm and friendly environment, intended to keep patients calm and peaceful.
The parallel visions of the owner and the architect have fused in a strong statement of transformation for not only cardiac care but also how medical clinics present.
