Cake Chemistry by Genevieve I believe that the cake is the centrepiece of any special occasion, embodying the theme and setting the scene. Of course it has to taste amazing too!

Where do I start? I feel as though I've been baking forever....

I have always loved being in the kitchen creating delicious, sweet treats. I’m a great fan of home baking and over the years, my passion for baking extended to cake decorating and design. During school I had market stalls for my cakes and cookies, way back before cupcake hysteria hit! Then for many years my baking became something just for family and friends with my career taking me down a different path (pharmacy) and also being busy with three young children. That said I have still managed to produce hundreds of cakes over the years. Recently, I have started taking orders again for my cakes and cookies. My business ‘Cake Chemistry by Genevieve’ is just starting to take off which is incredibly exciting! My cakes, cookies and cupcakes come in a variety of different themes and designs and can be custom made to suit any occasion or specification. I love experimenting with different flavours and am happy to cater to all tastes and dietary requirements. My larger, tiered cakes and sculpted cakes often do require a 'sturdy' cake base so this needs to be taken into consideration when selecting an appropriate recipe. I put 100% into every cake I make and am a self-confessed perfectionist.
