23/3/93…. the day I started my new little venture looking after the most vulnerable in my local community in Coffs Harbour.
Known as Bananacoast Home Nursing and Respite Care, I was a young nurse with big dreams.
33 years later, a new look , a new name, over 100 staff over 3 regions and a husband and 4 kids along the way
Life has been very generous!
Thankyou to all who continue to support us and especially my long suffering husband Mick, our kids, Michaela , Jack, Georgie and Rhys, my sister Deb, and family and close friends who walk alongside me each and every day.
Special acknowledgement to Kerry and Kirin and the great staff who provide the excellent care we provide to clients in our communities, every hour of every day, of the year. We absolutely could not do it without you all.

After the news that a school has banned a child with autism from participating in a school trip, I feel the need to write this. There are boys and girls who do not invite anyone to birthdays, for example. There are kids who want to be on a team but don't get picked because it's more important to win than to include these kids. Kids with special needs aren’t weird, they just want what everyone else wants: to be accepted!! Can I ask a question??. Is anyone willing to copy and paste this post on their wall without sharing, like I did for a friend? they also need full love and support!
