It’s 2025! Time to renew your EPC plans!

An enhanced primary care plan (EPC) or referral is an initiative run through Medicare that entitles people with a chronic condition to receive a rebate for allied health services.

The EPC referral entitles you to five sessions per calendar year rebated by Medicare and ten sessions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Most people would have utilised their sessions for the 2024 calendar year, so a little reminder to book an appointment with nurse and GP to update your EPC plan for 2025 👍

From Monday 6th January 2025 Kure Medical West Wyalong will be charging a private billing schedule for all appointments. Which means patients who do not hold a concession/dva card, and over the age of 16, will be charged a service fee of $90. Medicare will refund the rebate at the time of service.
