As October comes to a close, we pause to reflect on the stories shared, the grief honoured, and the strength shown.
This month, we’ve stood together in remembrance, highlighted the importance of mental health, and reinforced that every step of the fertility journey deserves care.

At WFC, we believe that compassion and expertise go hand in hand — because caring for fertility means caring for the whole person.

Every story matters. Every step matters. And every person deserves compassion, expertise, and support — every step of the way.

Together in care. Always. 💜

Mental health is part of your fertility journey — not separate from it. At WFC, we care for the whole person, because your emotional wellbeing matters just as much as your physical health.

Here’s what we hope you take away:

🧠 Mental health is healthcare — your feelings are valid, and support is part of care.
🌿 Small acts of self-care add up — even gentle routines can help you feel more grounded.
🤝 Support is strongest when shared — connection eases isolation and builds resilience.
💜 Compassion and care go hand in hand — you deserve both.
✨ Your wellbeing is always part of your journey — and we’re here to walk it with you.

Fertility treatment can be emotionally complex — and you don’t have to face it alone. 💜

At WFC, every patient has access to free counselling with professionals who understand the emotional side of this journey. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need someone to talk to — we're here.

Seeking support is a strength. Let’s break the stigma together. 💬🌿

Tonight at 7pm, a wave of light will travel across the globe — a shared act of remembrance for every baby lost and every heart grieving. 🕯️
On October 15, we join families around the world in remembering the little lives that left too soon.
At WFC, we hold space for your grief, your love, and your story. You are forever in our hearts. 💛

Make the Most of Your Medicare Safety Net Before 1 Jan

The Extended Medicare Safety Net resets on 1 January — if you’ve already reached the threshold, you could receive higher rebates on eligible fertility treatment costs

Our final cycle start date for 2025 is Thursday, 4 December. Starting your cycle on or before this date ensures you can complete treatment steps and maximise your Medicare benefits before the reset 🗓️

Not sure if you’ve reached the threshold? You can check via your Medicare account on MyGov, or get in touch with us — we’re happy to help. 💬

Let’s finish the year strong, together. 💫

Miscarriage can leave you with unanswered questions — but there are pathways to understanding and hope. 💜
Your fertility specialist may refer you to a genetic counsellor to explore your family history and uncover possible causes. Together, they’ll guide you through next steps, offering clarity, care, and support at every stage.
At WFC, we believe in combining expert insight with compassionate care — because answers matter, and so does how you're supported while finding them

Fertility treatment can be overwhelming - emotionally, physically, and mentally. At WFC, we want you to feel supported every step of the way.

Here are 3 gentle strategies to help care for your mental health:

🔹 Talk to someone who gets it
Professional support can help you feel heard, understood, and emotionally equipped.

🔹 Make space for rest and self-care
Whether it’s a quiet walk, a warm bath, or simply saying no — protect your energy and prioritise what restores you.

🔹 Stay informed, but set boundaries
Knowledge is empowering, but constant research can be draining. Give yourself permission to step back when needed.

Swipe for more guidance from our team. You’re doing your best — and we’re here to support you. 💙

Feeling off lately? It could be PCOS.
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome affects 1 in 10 women - and many don’t even know they have it.
Symptoms like irregular periods, acne, weight changes, and fatigue are common but manageable with the right care 💬

Your baby is our only goal. Science is how we achieve it.

We are 100 percent owned by the University of Sydney, which means we are not focused on making profits for private shareholders. We are free to follow our philosophy of offering the latest, most effective, high quality fertility treatments at affordable prices. We strongly believe that all patients have the right to access fertility treatments, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Any operating surpluses we make are invested back into our laboratory and clinical equipment, and used to increase success rates through research. We are the only fertility clinic in Australia that operates as a social enterprise, using our ‘profits for purpose’ to drive research with the potential to improve future patient outcomes. We are happy to discuss your individual situation at any time. Call us on (02) 8890 7484.
