🎉 This week we’re celebrating Healthcare Simulation Week across the Westmead Health Precinct!

It’s been fantastic to connect with our colleagues from WSLHD SiLECT, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network Kids Simulation Australia, and the University of Sydney Simulation teams – all of whom are making an incredible impact through simulation-based education and training right here in our Precinct.

Simulation is a powerful modality that bridges the gap between knowledge and practice, giving learners the opportunity to apply skills in real-world scenarios in a safe and supportive environment. It is a game changer in healthcare education, fostering lifelong learning and better outcomes for our patients and communities.

👏 A huge thank you to all the educators, simulationists and clinicians who continue to drive this important work and keep the simulation flag flying high.

A sincere thank you to all presenters and participants for contributing to this significant event, reinforcing Westmead’s role as a place where innovation and collaboration thrive for the benefit of our community.
