Oncology massage is a specialised form of gentle massage designed for individuals living with cancer, including those undergoing or recovering from cancer treatments.

Here’s how it can support your healing journey:
💆‍♀️ Relieves pain and fatigue - Soothing touch helps ease physical discomfort and boosts relaxation.
🧘 Reduces anxiety & stress - Calm the nervous system and support emotional balance during challenging times.
💤 Supports sleep - Better rest = better recovery. Many clients experience deeper, more restful sleep.
💓 Enhances well-being - Feel more grounded, supported, and connected to your body in a nurturing environment.

Our experienced oncology massage therapist is trained to tailor each session with your unique needs and medical history in mind.

Melanoma is a serious form of skin cancer that begins in melanocytes — the cells that produce pigment in our skin. It's most often caused by excessive sun exposure, but it can also appear in unexpected places like under the nails, on the soles of the feet, or even in the eye (ocular melanoma).⁣

➡️ In 2023, over 18,200 Australians were diagnosed with melanoma.
➡️ It’s the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia.
➡️ On average, diagnosis occurs at 65 years old.
➡️ 1 in 17 Australians will be diagnosed by age 85.⁣

Australia and New Zealand have the highest melanoma rates in the world — but it’s also one of the most preventable cancers.⁣

Protect yourself:⁣
✔️ Avoid sun exposure when the UV Index is 3+ (especially midday)
✔️ Seek shade and wear protective clothing⁣
✔️ Use SPF50+ sunscreen daily⁣
✔️ Wear a wide-brimmed hat & close-fitting sunglasses⁣
✔️ Avoid solariums⁣

Your skin is your body’s largest organ — take care of it. Early detection and prevention save lives. 💛⁣

Did you know that 9 out of 10 bowel cancers can be successfully treated if found early? Bowel cancer is one of the most common cancers in Australia—but early detection makes all the difference. In fact, there’s a simple, FREE test you can do at home.

Through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program, eligible Australians aged 50 to 74 are automatically sent a screening kit every two years. If you're aged 45 to 49, you can request your first kit by calling 1800 627 701. If you're aged 45 to 74, you can also talk to your doctor (that’s us! 👋) about getting a kit.

✅ It’s private
✅ It could save your life

Let’s keep your gut and your whole self healthy.

When someone you care about is going through cancer, it’s hard to know what to say or do. Here are a few simple ways to show love and support:

👂 Just Listen
Sometimes the best thing you can do is sit with them, listen, and be there—no advice needed.

🤲 Offer Specific Help
Try, “Can I bring you dinner?” or “Want me to drive you to your appointment?” It’s easier to say yes when the offer is clear.

⏳ Be Patient
Some days will be tough. Others will feel better. Let them move at their own pace.

🌿 Support the Whole Person
Encourage care that helps the body and mind - acupuncture, massage, Tai Chi or yoga. That’s what we’re here for.
