Residents at Cumberland View Aged Care have swayed to our Friday happy hour music with Freddy Gulino. Steph Renouf rocked the house with some favourite tunes. We got into the kitchen and cooked up something special and made birthday memories with new and old friends.

We have had a fun start to August with music from Kathy Lang, Alex Matthews, Aaron’s piano recital, Laurel McKenna, Jack the music man and Boruch,our wandering minstrel. We celebrated our staff for Aged Care Employee thank you day. We loved the visit from our furry friend from 🐕 PAWS 🐾 We were dancing in our seats to movement to music with Eliza and today we celebrated 🇮🇳India’s Day of Independence.

Today on Aged Care Employee Day it is our moment to say a heartfelt thank you to the incredible people who make our community what it is. From the compassionate hands-on carers to the quiet achievers behind the scenes – chefs, cleaners, lifestyle teams, admin, maintenance and more – today, we celebrate you.

Your kindness, care and commitment touch the lives of our residents and their families every single day. So today, we rolled out the red carpet to honour your hard work, your big hearts, and the humanity you bring to aged care.

We had a wonderful time with family and friends at our High tea party at Cumberland View Aged Care living. We Danced and sang along with Coxy the Cowboy 🤠 🎵 Cooked up a storm 🧑‍🍳 in our cooking sessions and yes … a few sheep 🐑 stations were lost in carpet bowls. Thanks to everyone for making this a fantastic week.

Cumberland View Aged Care has had a wonderful week celebrating Christmas in July 🤶🏻 🎅🏻 🎄We enjoyed international cuisine day celebrating the tastes of France. Jose got us moving to the beat with a wonderful drumming session. So much fun enjoyed together.

We’ve been keeping busy and having fun all week long at Cumberland View Aged Care living.
We’ve celebrated international tattoo day, partied with Alex Matthews, cooked, crafted, created and shared time with friends and family.

We spent our time with friends at Cumberland View Aged Care living. We just loved our annual 🧸 Teddy bears picnic. We enjoyed a furry visit from Milo the dog from miracle paws 🐾. Happy hour with Freddy Gulino was a blast 🎵 Our wandering minstrel Barouch spread song and cheer. We acknowledged NAIDOC week in craft as well as book club. This week we cooked carrot cake. A wonderful week.

A fabulous week of fun at Cumberland View Aged Care. Our wandering minstrel Baruch delighted residents with a concert followed by room visits sharing smiles as he played music🎵 in crafty Cumberland we painted roses 🌹 with Bok choy 🥬 We’ve enjoyed time with friends and family and ended the week with happy hour.

Hello from Cumberland View Aged Care Living. Residents have had a wonderful time dancing and singing with Tommy Dee, Steph Renouf, Jack the music man and movement to music with Eliza too. Caulfield Grammer students were inspiring with a beautiful 🎻 🎹musical performance. We thoroughly enjoyed our high tea 🫖 🥂 🍰 with friends. There is always fun to be had with bingo, book club, carpet bowls, exercises and craft just to name a few activities on offer.

We have had a very busy week indeed here at Cumberland View Aged Care Living. Alex Matthews, Jack the music man, The Golden Girls and Margaret Dennis all came to Entertain. We celebrated our Birtdays in June and a Welcome tea party to new friends. We enjoyed a taste of Germany for this month’s cultural cuisine as well as baking Red Velvet cup cakes.
