Happy Friday from residents and staff at Cumberland View Aged Care. So much to do and spoilt for choice. Thanks to Doug D’Rose, Alex Matthews, Milo the cutest 🐾 furry dog visitor. We cooked, crafted and carpet bowled all together with friends.

The football is over but what a fun season it’s been. We had over 50 residents at Cumberland View enter the competition. We celebrated with a footy tipping presentation and our winners were given a prize and a trophy. Everyone who participated received a small trophy. 🏆

What a fantastic week it’s been. Everyone is excited for the AFL grand final. May the best team win. Residents loved our footy tipping trophy presentation. We danced to Doug D’Rose for happy hour and celebrated everything 60’s with The Golden Girls and what a show it was. ☮️ ✌️ 💛🧡❤️🩷💚🩵💙💜

Cumberland View Aged Care living residents have danced, sang, listened to and enjoyed music🎵 all week. Concerts with Wheelers Hill College and Caulfield Grammar music students, Alex Matthews on guitar and Piano recitals. Our international cuisine this month was Mexican 🇲🇽 to celebrate Mexican independence day and we really got into the mood🪅

We had a wonderful week. Our Father’s Day celebration with Ricky “Elvis” was so much fun topped off with a gift for our special Dads. We enjoyed milk shakes, happy hour, men’s group, cooking, craft and chair Tai chi with Chris just to name a few of our favourite things.

Residents at Cumberland View Aged Care have swayed to our Friday happy hour music with Freddy Gulino. Steph Renouf rocked the house with some favourite tunes. We got into the kitchen and cooked up something special and made birthday memories with new and old friends.

We have had a fun start to August with music from Kathy Lang, Alex Matthews, Aaron’s piano recital, Laurel McKenna, Jack the music man and Boruch,our wandering minstrel. We celebrated our staff for Aged Care Employee thank you day. We loved the visit from our furry friend from 🐕 PAWS 🐾 We were dancing in our seats to movement to music with Eliza and today we celebrated 🇮🇳India’s Day of Independence.
