So happy to be in the Library to promote Whyalla History Group.

The Whyalla Family History Group Inc will now have a regular base at the Whyalla Public Library’s Local History Room, meeting on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

The group will officially launch its new home on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, at 3:30pm at the Local History Room. The opening event will highlight the group’s services, their contribution to the community, and will feature an official address from Mayor Phill Stone.

Members and friends of the Whyalla Family History Group are reminded of the coming Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday, 25th August at Roopena Football Club at 1.00pm. The Whyalla Family History Group is holding their monthly meeting on Monday, 28th July at Roopena Football Club at 1.00pm. The Speaker this time will be one of our members, Carolyn Ronan who will be talking about "Back to Basics - gathering accurate family history data and the use of a system to file your records.
